We’ve all had that one time when you can’t find a phone and the app is the only one that lets you see your home screen, or even if you’re trying to open an app, it just won’t load.
If you’ve ever had that happen, you know what we mean: you’ll find yourself trying to navigate to your favourite app in a dark and unfamiliar world.
You’ll see a notification in the notification area that says “Welcome to the Home app” when you try to open it, and that’s about it.
Unfortunately, if you don’t have Home as a default app in your iOS device, then it’s easy to disable it completely.
This is not something you should have to do for an iOS device that has iOS 10 or later, but if you do, it’s worth knowing what you can do.
