Two walkies were seized from the owner’s house after an investigation by the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department, police said.
Officers executed a search warrant at the home in the 2100 block of E. Martin Luther King Jr. Jr. Boulevard in Northwest Washington on Tuesday afternoon, according to the police department.
The two walkies, a single-speed model and a full-speed unit, were seized.
The investigation began after a tip from a witness that two walkie and talkie radios were missing, police told The Washington Post.
Detectives determined that the owners of the two walkied were at the residence when the search warrant was executed, said police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi.
The property is located in Northwest, just north of the White House, where President Donald Trump, Vice President Mike Pence, First Lady Melania Trump and others attended a meeting with U.S. intelligence officials.
